Plot Summary
In the late Han Dynasty, General Huo An (Jackie Chan) leads the Silk Road Protection Squad, a peacekeeping unit tasked with safeguarding trade between China and the Western Regions. After successfully brokering peace between Indians and the Xiongnu, Huo An and his men are falsely accused of corruption and sentenced to hard labor at the ruined Wild Geese Gate fortress. There, Huo An discovers an imprisoned Roman general, Lucius (John Cusack), who, along with his men, defected to protect the Silk Road from his own corrupt superiors.
